floor和ground

ground地面，一般不可数。而floor当地板讲不可数，当楼层时可数。

ground和floor的用法

room做名词有房间的意思，也有空间的意思。比如：这个房间还有一点位置去放置一个沙发。里面就用到两个room，分别是两个意思。

floor是地板，一般指室内的地面。

ground一般指户外的地上，比如操场上。

ground是指地面,大运场.floor是指楼层,一楼,二楼的地面. 两者可连用,如: the first floor ground(一楼的地面)

在美式英语中的first floor与英式英语中的ground floor意思相同，都是指一楼。但在英式英语中first floor则是指二楼。

因此first floor和ground,floor是有区别的。

在英式英语中，

一楼，

即楼房地面与街道相平的楼层，

是ground floor, 

ground floor上面的一层

叫first floor，

也就是我们常说的二楼。

同理，

三楼就是second floor，

美式英语

而在美式英语中，

英美对地下室的称呼是相同的:

the 1st basement地下一层

the 2nd basement地下二层

美国楼层顺序是从1往上排列。

英国则把一层称为

the ground floor。

二层称为

依次类推。

建筑的顶层则可以称为

the top floor。

英国人表达第一层楼通常说the ground floor,美国人则说the first floor;

英国人表达第二层楼通常说the first floor,美国人则说the second floor。

以此类推，美国人说高于二层以上的建筑时要比英国人多一层。

英国人表述“楼层数目”的通常用storey,美国人则用story。

比如表达中文意思中的二十层楼：

如果说在第几层，英国人通常只说on...floors.

而美国人还可以说in...story.

英国人这么说：

美国人这么说:
